Outside our classroom windows

Looking out the windows in Year 4 that are at the left hand side of the classroom

When I took the photo I saw a farm with lot of land and houses. There is lots of yellow and greenish grass, cows and beautiful green trees. You can see a little bit of the Blue Mountains. You can see the nice blue sky and the hot sun. It is 25 degrees and it’s very hot.

Hello Ashley, we are not allowed to pat the cows because they will kick you.

Ashley do you have any animals near your school? If you have animals what are they?

Hi Kaiya,
We have a fence between the school and the farm. The cows come to the fence and we see them when we are in the class. We are not allowed to pat the cows because they mite bite us when we try to pat them. do you have a beautiful garden??

Hi,
Will we have 4 playgrounds 2 around the back and 2 around the front. We have a playground for k to 2 and a playground for 3 to 6. The two around the back are for everyone and we have turns going around the back. We have a basketball court for 3 to 6 and we have a canteen that has ice blocks, lollies and chips for cheap prices. Do you have a playground and a canteen and what does it have?

Hi Ariel, the cows sometimes come over. We are not allowed to pat the cows because there is a fence. The teacher on duty says not to pat the cows. When you look outside your window what do you see, do you see animals?

Hi Ashley how are you ?
No we do not pat the cows they sometimes go on our backoval at night but we only see them in the
paddock during the day.

Do you have any animals near your school?

Mrs Smith, we have a different temperature scale. In Australia we use the Celsius (or Centigrade) scale. Water freezes at zero degrees on our scale and boils at 100 degrees.

25 degrees celsius is about 80 degrees farenheight. 60 degrees for you would be about 15 degrees for us.

Hope this helps

Hi Guys
I am the principal of Holy Family and the year 4 children have forgotten to tell you that one of the jobs (and the principal has been known to do it!) is to chase the cows off the back ovals. They don't get in too often only when the fence has been cut or broken. Before we had the good fences they were getting in all the time!

Hi Ashley we are not allowed to pat the cows because there is a fence to make sure the cows don’t come in. It’s cool to have cows and other animals next to our school. Do you have any animals near your school and home?
