Do you enjoy the challenge questions?
From September 2009, this blog will become a communication tool that will link the 4th Grade Classes at Luddenham, NSW Australia, and Tuscola, Illinois in the US.
This exciting adventure will hopefully allow both classes to learn more about each other & the communities in which they live. It is a great way to bring global communities together!

I think we should not kill animals.It is cruel to the animals and their families.And it separates them from their family.
The reasons why we shouldn’t kill animals . It makes us have less resources than we usually do . And there is less food than normal.
More reasons why we shouldn’t kill animals. It is destroying their habitat. Its making them die before they are suppose to.
But Kate, don't we need to kill animals for our food and many cosmetics and medicines?
I think we shouldn`t kill animals because its cruel to kill them and we can eat a lot of other things that are healthy for us.
Brittany, human beings are carnivores (we are meat eaters). Isn't it only part of our place in nature to eat meat?
Year 4, you are having a good discussion here. Sometimes when we think about killing animals we are thinking of our pets that we may have at home and we certainly wouldn't kill them! But I think when we have animals that may be a danger to other animals or to human beings then we probably should be able to kill them. We also need meat to keep healthy and this form of 'killing' is a little bit different as animals, including humans, are all a part of a food chain.
i think we should only kill anmials when we need too for food so i disagree.
We should not be allowed to kill animals.Because we wood kill all the animals in the world.
We should be allowed to kill animals but not for fun. We need to kill animals to live because if we don’t kill animals we would die. If we kill animals for fun you should get in trouble because it is not nice to kill animals for nothing. We SHOULD NOT KILL ANIMALS FOR FUN!!
