I think punishment does make a child better. It will teach them to not be silly. By not letting them do what they want.

If we don't get punished we will keep being silly. When we haven't been punished we won't be a good boy or girl. By being punished we are off to be a better boy or girl.

When we are punished we are a better person. We can then do what we want because we are now good. SO PUNISHMENT DOES MAKE A CHILD BETTER.

Lucas , a very good attitude. Would it not be better that we were responsible children who respect others and therefore we could do away with punishment?

i think punishment is good for kids because it teaches them right from rong. and any way it will give the kids an idea that they can go and be nuaghty and not get punished for it.
