Outside our classroom windows

Looking out the windows in Year 4 that are at the left hand side of the classroom

When I took the photo I saw a farm with lot of land and houses. There is lots of yellow and greenish grass, cows and beautiful green trees. You can see a little bit of the Blue Mountains. You can see the nice blue sky and the hot sun. It is 25 degrees and it’s very hot.

Out side the window

Out side the window I see long green bushy grass. Big green gum trees on a farm and if you look closely behind the cattle farm on the photo you can see what we call the Blue Mountains and lots of big green trees. Sometimes cows and wondrous insects feed on fresh juicy grass. That’s what we see out side our window.

Thankyou
Chris

Outside 4 Blue looking towards the Blue Mountains

When I took the photo I saw a dam with bright blue water. I saw some light green leafed trees. There is a bright green market garden and there are lots of green plants. There is yellow and light green grass near the market garden. The Blue Mountains are blue because of the trees near by. There is a house on the right hand side and it has a red roof. You can see the blue sky and hot red sun. There is a dairy farm next door to our school with cows.

Early Australia

This week Year 4 is a chance for you to reflect on what it would have been like when the First Fleet landed in Australia.
What would have been their impressions?
What would have been the impressions of the indigenous people already here?

After watching the video, Nature of Australia, and using the information you have gained from Voice Echoes, make a visual Representation of your thoughts.
Use the copyright free pictures on our network to help you in your work.

Olympic Fever

This site has lots of activities that help students become part of the Olympic Spirit.
What parts did you go to?
What Olympic fact did you think was interesting?
Which athlete would you like to write to?
What questions would you ask?

British Colonisation

We have started our work on British Colonisation. We began by looking at a site called 'Dust Echoes'. This site shared dreamtime stories from Central Arnhem Land, telling stories of love, loyalty, duty to country and aboriginal custom and law.
What have you learnt from the stories?
